Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Subscription Overview
Creation Learning Academy offers monthly and annual subscription plans for access to our Biblical K-12 homeschool curriculum. All subscriptions are processed securely through Stripe, our payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to the terms outlined in this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
2. Free Trial Period
If a free trial is offered, you may cancel at any time during the trial period without being charged. To avoid charges, you must cancel before the trial period ends. Once the trial ends, your subscription will automatically begin, and you will be charged according to your selected plan.
3. Cancellation Policy
3.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team at support@creationlearning.academy. Cancellations are effective immediately, but you will retain access to your subscription benefits until the end of your current billing period.
3.2 Monthly Subscriptions
Monthly subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Upon cancellation:
- You will continue to have access until the end of your current billing cycle
- No further charges will be made
- You will not receive a refund for the current month
- You may resubscribe at any time in the future
3.3 Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions can be canceled at any time. Upon cancellation:
- You will continue to have access until the end of your annual period
- No further charges will be made after the annual term expires
- Partial refunds are not provided for unused months
- Annual subscriptions do not auto-renew if canceled during the subscription period
4. Refund Policy
4.1 Standard Refund Policy
In general, all subscription fees are non-refundable. This policy is in place because we provide immediate access to comprehensive educational content, interactive tools, and AI-powered features upon subscription. However, we understand that exceptional circumstances may arise, and we will consider refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
4.2 7-Day Satisfaction Guarantee (New Subscribers Only)
For first-time subscribers, we offer a 7-day satisfaction guarantee:
- If you are not satisfied with Creation Learning Academy within 7 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund
- This guarantee applies only to your first subscription (either monthly or annual)
- To request a refund, contact support@creationlearning.academy with your account details and reason for cancellation
- Refunds are typically processed within 5-10 business days
4.3 Exceptional Circumstances
We may issue refunds in the following exceptional circumstances:
- Technical Issues: If our Platform experiences prolonged downtime or technical problems preventing access for an extended period
- Billing Errors: If you were incorrectly charged due to a system error
- Duplicate Charges: If you were accidentally charged multiple times for the same subscription
- Unauthorized Charges: If charges were made without your authorization (subject to verification)
4.4 Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following situations:
- Change of mind after the 7-day guarantee period
- Failure to cancel before a renewal date
- Unused months of an annual subscription
- Account termination due to violation of Terms and Conditions
- Inability to use the Platform due to user's technical limitations (incompatible devices, inadequate internet connection)
5. Ministry Scholarships & Special Programs
Families receiving ministry scholarships, missionary discounts, or church group pricing are not eligible for refunds, as these are subsidized or donated subscriptions provided as a service to the Christian community.
6. Subscription Changes and Upgrades
6.1 Upgrading Your Plan
You may upgrade from Basic to Family or Premium, or from Family to Premium at any time. When upgrading, you will be charged a prorated amount for the remainder of your current billing cycle based on the price difference between plans.
6.2 Downgrading Your Plan
Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing cycle. You will continue to have access to your current plan's features until that time. No partial refunds are issued for downgrades.
7. Failed or Declined Payments
If a subscription payment fails or is declined by your financial institution, we will attempt to process the payment again. If payment continues to fail, your access may be temporarily suspended until payment is successfully processed. You are responsible for ensuring your payment method remains valid and up to date.
8. Promotional Offers and Discounts
From time to time, we may offer promotional pricing or discounts. These offers are subject to specific terms and conditions which will be communicated at the time of the promotion. Unless otherwise stated, promotional rates apply only for the initial billing period and will revert to standard pricing upon renewal.
9. Lifetime or Founding Member Subscriptions
If you purchased a lifetime or founding member subscription at a special rate, these subscriptions are non-refundable under all circumstances except as required by law. These special offers represent significant discounts in exchange for upfront payment commitment.
10. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund under our 7-day satisfaction guarantee or in exceptional circumstances, please contact us with the following information:
- Your account email address
- Your subscription plan and billing date
- Reason for the refund request
- Any relevant details or documentation supporting your request

Response Time: We review all refund requests within 48 business hours
Processing Time: Approved refunds are processed within 5-10 business days and will appear on your statement according to your bank's processing timeline
11. Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank or credit card company without first contacting us, your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation. Fraudulent chargebacks may result in permanent account termination and may be reported to fraud prevention services. We strongly encourage you to contact our support team first to resolve any billing concerns.
12. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time. Changes will be communicated via email or through a prominent notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy. However, any changes will not affect refund requests submitted prior to the policy change.
